Who is responsible

What we store

• Your account: the email address you sign up with, your display name, and a hashed password.
• Your broker connection: the API key and secret you supply for Kraken or Trading 212, stored encrypted on our server, plus the provider, account identifier, connection status, permissions and currency. We use these credentials to read balances and orders and to carry out the trading actions you enable.
• Your trading records: bots you create, their settings and limits, the orders they place, positions, and the plain-English log of decisions.
• Technical records: sign-in and error logs needed to keep the service working and to investigate faults.
• Referrals: your invite code, which account invited a new account, qualifying payment and product identifiers, reward choices and preferences, free-month credits, cash rewards, payout status and administrative audit records.
• Referral payouts: your Stripe connected-account identifier and the minimal amounts, dates, transfer identifiers and status needed to pay and reconcile rewards. Stripe collects and verifies bank and identity information through its hosted onboarding; we do not store that bank or identity-verification information.

Why we use it

We use your account, bot, and subscription information to provide the service you request under our contract with you. We use security, fraud, and service logs for our legitimate interests in protecting accounts and keeping the service reliable. If we ask to send marketing email, we will ask for your consent; you can withdraw it at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising or analytics tracking on this website, and we do not build an advertising profile of you. Your broker keys are not sent to an AI model and are not written into the decision log.

Cookies

This site uses a session cookie to keep you signed in after you log in. It is necessary for the service to work, so it is set without a consent banner. We set no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. When you use an invite link, a referral cookie remembers that invite for up to 30 days so we can attribute your signup. Your browser’s local storage may hold small preferences, such as onboarding progress, on your own device.

Who else is involved

Practice trading does not use a broker account or real money. Connected Kraken and Trading 212 accounts remain with the broker. The broker receives authenticated balance and order requests from JEVTRADER; live orders use your own account and money when enabled. These providers support the service:

• Fly.io hosts the service (data processing information).
• Resend carries account email (data processing addendum).
• RevenueCat handles paid subscriptions when you choose a paid plan (data processing addendum).
• Stripe processes web payments when you choose a paid plan (data processing agreement).
• Apple handles TestFlight and iOS purchases (App Store privacy information).
• Kraken and Trading 212 process the account requests for connections you choose to add.

Some of these providers may process personal information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their linked terms describe the safeguards available for international transfers. Contact us at simeon@socialiser.app to ask for details of the safeguards that apply to your data.

How long we keep it

Account and trading records are kept while your account exists so your history is intact. Account deletion removes your saved broker credentials, account and trading records, invite code and your referral credits from the active service database. Credits already earned by another account may remain, with your account identifier removed from the referral record. We keep a minimal payment record for referral payouts as required for financial records. After deletion, retained payout records use a random ledger identifier instead of your app user identifier, with no email or name. The Stripe account identifier and qualifying payment identifiers may remain so we can pay cash still owed, match refunds and reconcile transfers. Previously made service backups may retain earlier records; deletion from the active database does not erase existing backup copies immediately. Payment providers keep their own billing records under their retention policies. Deleting your JEVTRADER account does not cancel your subscription.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also ask us to restrict or object to processing or request portability where applicable. Disconnecting a broker connection removes its encrypted credentials from the active service database. You may first need to close live positions and resolve outstanding orders. You can also revoke the API key at your broker; disconnecting JEVTRADER does not revoke that key at the broker or erase the broker’s records. For requests, email simeon@socialiser.app.

You can also email that address to make a data-protection complaint. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
