Risk disclosure
Read this before starting a practice bot. It explains simulated losses and the limits of its controls.
Trading can lose money
Trading carries real risk of loss. Prices move against positions, and you can lose money — with real money that means you may get back less than you put in.
Practice trades can reduce your simulated balance, but they do not move your real cash. You can watch how a bot behaves without putting money at risk.
Real-money trading uses your own Kraken account
Every bot starts with practice money. You can switch a bot to real money by connecting your own Kraken account with a key that cannot withdraw, setting a limit and stop-loss, and confirming the risk. Real money is never switched on for you. When a bot trades real money you can lose some or all of the money it uses.
Simulated results do not predict the future
Practice and simulated results — including any figure the app shows for a bot’s past behaviour — do not predict what will happen next. They are produced under conditions that may not reproduce partial fills, queue position, slippage, or a venue outage. A strategy that looked steady in simulation can lose money in a real market, and past performance is not a guide to future results.
Limits reduce risk; they do not remove it
You choose the amount a PAPER bot may use and its trade limits, and you can pause or stop it. These controls can block new entries but do not guarantee an outcome. With real money, a market could gap past a stop-loss, a broker can reject or delay an order, and a protection that cannot run because the service is unreachable cannot protect anything.
You stay in control
You can pause or stop a practice bot and close a practice position yourself, including after a subscription expires. Safety controls are never withheld for billing reasons. You can also pause or stop a real-money bot at any time.
Not advice
Socialiser App Ltd operates JevTrader. JevTrader is software, not an adviser. Nothing in the app or on this website is investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. If you are unsure whether trading suits you, take independent advice.
Before you use real money
Only trade money you can afford to lose. Keep your broker keys trade-scoped, check the broker’s own risk warnings, and be aware that automated trading can act faster than you can react.
